We’re looking for another barista to join the team. You’ll make drinks and made-to-order paninis. This is a full-time day shift with room to grow — several of our people have moved into shift lead, baker, and assistant manager. Barista experience is a plus, not required. We’ll train the right person.
We care about excellent customer service and have a base of regulars who make the shop a joy to work in.
Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso drinks, infusions, and paninis according to recipes.
- Complete production records including waste tracking, inventory usage, and shortages.
- Notify supervisors when inventory or supplies are low.
- Ensure proper presentation, portion control, quality, and serving temperatures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, tools, and workspaces.
- Handle food items safely and in compliance with all safety standards.
- Follow daily opening, closing, and mid-shift cleaning procedures.
- Keep display and service areas clean and organized.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
- Relay customer concerns or feedback to supervisors.
- Maintain calm, accurate, and efficient performance during busy periods.
- Ensure all products are prepared and displayed according to company standards.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Complete assigned shift duties thoroughly and on time.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school student or higher.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
- Able to stand for long periods and frequently use hands and arms.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and regularly bend and twist from the waist.
- Frequently required to use hand and finger motions, handle objects, and reach.
- Must be able to adjust vision between close and distant work in various lighting.
- Comfortable handling food, hot beverages, and sharp tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Baker job description

We’re looking for a full-time baker to make fresh treats for the case and for catering. The shop is open 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily; this role has flexible hours that may include early morning or evening shifts so the case is actually full.
Responsibilities
- Prepare baked goods according to recipes and production specifications.
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and other pastries as needed, based on daily production and catering sheets.
- Assist in production planning to meet daily product requirements.
- Ensure proper food preparation by following approved recipes and using appropriate equipment.
- Complete production records, including waste tracking and inventory usage.
- Inform supervisor of low inventory or supply shortages.
- Maintain proper food presentation, quality, portion control, and temperature standards.
- Keep all equipment, tools, and work areas clean, sanitary, and organized.
- Safely handle all food items according to food safety standards.
- Clean equipment and workstations thoroughly after each shift.
- Keep display cases and bakery area tidy and free of debris.
- Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.

Do I need coffee experience?
Barista experience is a plus, not required. We train the right person. Several people here started on the bar and moved into shift lead, baker, or assistant manager. Attitude, pace, and showing up matter more than a perfect pour on day one.
What are the hours like?
The shop is open 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 365 days a year. Early shift starts at 5:30 AM and the last shift ends at 7:00 PM. Tell us your preferred hours on the form. Weekends come with the job.
