After the quarry, before the highway.
Fossil Butte National Monument is about 15 minutes west. Private quarries and galleries (In Stone Fossils, Ulrich’s, Tynsky’s) sit in and around town. We already pour for field crews who show up dusty and in numbers — call if you’re bringing a van.
Some overnight fossil trips include a credit at the shop. If you’re staying at the Opera House a few doors down, you’re already on the block.
US-30 and US-189 both dump you into Kemmerer. We’re on the historic Main Street triangle, across from the original J.C. Penney store. Best Western Fossil Country Inn is a short drive.

What are your hours and where do I park?

How far is Fossil Butte National Monument?
About 15 minutes west of the shop. We are a standard stop after the monument or a day in a quarry. Field crews already know to call if they are bringing a van so we can keep the bar moving.
Do you have wifi, and can I bring a dog?
Yes to both. Wifi is on, dogs are welcome (especially on the patio), and the shop is wheelchair accessible. Kids are fine. It is a small-town coffee shop, not a quiet library.
